At Legato Content Solutions, AI software is used as part of the video production process to create animated and photorealistic visuals. Animation does not happen without tools — the key difference is how those tools are chosen and used. Not all AI software carries the same level of risk.

I take a deliberate, responsible approach to AI usage because I respect my clients’ content, privacy, and intellectual property.

Understanding AI Risk Levels

AI tools vary widely in how they handle data, ownership, and usage rights. For clarity, I evaluate tools using three general risk categories:

High-Risk AI Software

High-risk tools often:

• retain or reuse uploaded content for training of the company’s Large Language Machines-LLMs

• have unclear or unfavorable IP ownership terms

• lack transparency around data storage or retention

• provide limited control over how client materials are handled

I do not use high-risk AI software for client work.

Low- to Medium-Risk AI Software

Low- and medium-risk tools typically:

• do not claim ownership of client content

• clearly state how uploaded materials are processed

• provide reasonable data privacy protections

• define how outputs can be used commercially

These tools are suitable for professional video production when used carefully and intentionally.

Due Diligence & Client Protection

Before using any AI software in a project, I take time to review:

• Terms of Service

• Privacy Policies

• Licensing and usage rights

• Intellectual property provisions

I make sure I understand:

• who owns the output

• how client materials are handled

• whether data is stored, reused, or deleted

• how the software can be used in commercial work

If a client has questions, I can explain which tools were used and under what usage terms.

Respect for Client IP

Your materials — scripts, storyboards, concepts, and visual references — are treated as your intellectual property.

My goal is not just to produce strong video assets, but to do so in a way that:

• respects your ownership

• minimizes risk

• avoids unnecessary exposure of sensitive materials

• aligns with professional and ethical standards

A Practical, Responsible Approach

AI is a powerful production tool — but it requires judgment.

I don’t use tools blindly, and I don’t treat client materials casually. Every project is handled with care, transparency, and respect for the trust clients place in me.
